The Courtesy Driver is responsible for providing transportation for customers when they leave their vehicles for servicing and for making pick-ups and deliveries as required. When not transporting service customers, this position is responsible for moving cars out of the breezeway, pulling them up for delivery if requested and assist in the breezeway and the shop clear of debris. This position is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Vehicle and needs to report any safety or maintenance items to the Service Manager.
Responsibilities
- Transports customers in assigned vehicles within the local area
- Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks
- Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road
- Drive customer vehicles on extended test drives as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications/Skills
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Customer service-oriented and friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask and tend to several clients at once
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team

Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels
- Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance
- May requires some driving and typing. Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles
- Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
